Your first 3D print, explained.

From an idea on screen to something you can hold. A clear route through the whole process.

Start with a job for your object

A useful first project is small and easy to check: a label, a simple organizer or a personalized gift. Decide what it should do, where it will live and how big it needs to be.

Model, prepare, print

  1. Find or design a model. Use a customizer, build in CAD or choose a file with a suitable licence.
  2. Prepare it in a slicer. Choose the actual printer and material, set the orientation and inspect the layer preview.
  3. Check the first layer. Follow your printer’s setup instructions. A clean, correctly prepared build plate matters.
  4. Review the result. Check dimensions and fit before printing a batch.
