New to 3D printing? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect place to start. We'll introduce you to the world of additive manufacturing, covering the basics of how 3D printers work, the materials they use, and what's possible when you bring ideas to life layer by layer.

Then we'll get hands-on with a Bambu A1 Mini printer—loading filament, slicing a file, and printing the classic “Benchy” test model (a cute little tugboat that's become the unofficial mascot of 3D printing).

Whether you've never touched a printer or just want to see what it's all about, this is the place to dive in.

  • 🧠 Learn how 3D printers work
  • 🖨️ Get familiar with slicing software
  • 🎨 Print your first Benchy from start to finish
  • 📖 No experience required—and yes, we'll explain what a Benchy is!

Perfect for the 3D-curious of all ages. Come with questions, leave with a boat.

Workshop length: 60 minutes.
