Build your own MP3 player on a breadboard and learn how its electronics work together. Connect an ESP32 to an SD card slot, a small amplifier, a small OLED screen, a speaker and a rotary dial, then test your build with an instructor.

  • Build the circuit: arrange and connect the components on a breadboard.
  • Add music storage and playback: connect the SD card slot, amplifier and speaker.
  • Create the controls: use the OLED screen and rotary dial to navigate and select things.
  • Test and troubleshoot: check the wiring and controls, then try out your completed player.

Take home your build: one MP3 player build per booked participant. This is an in-store workshop.

Prerequisite: complete Breadboard Workshop: Circuits Without Solder before attending. The prerequisite workshop is booked separately.

The $99 price covers the full two-hour workshop. Select your date and time using the booking calendar.
