Canadair built 200 CF-104s at Cartierville and the RCAF flew them in Europe from 1962 to 1986, first in the nuclear strike role and later in the tactical one.

Pilots called it the missile with a man in it. It was the fastest aircraft Canada ever operated. This one is 12641, natural metal with red tip tanks.

Two sizes. The medium is 1:100, 74 mm across the wings and 162 mm long. The large is 1:72, 103 mm across and 226 mm long. Both are printed in PLA and finished by hand in Hamilton, Ontario.

This is one of the nine airplanes you can fly in Fly Lake Ontario, a free flight game that runs in your browser over Hamilton, Toronto and the lake. The model is cut from the same geometry the game flies, so what you print is the airplane you flew.

Made to order. Photographs of the printed model are coming; the images here are renders from the game.
