Teen Engineering Evening Sessions (Ages 13-17)

Real engineering skills for teens who are ready to go deeper. Our evening sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights - 3 sessions per week at Print and Play (162 Locke St S, Hamilton). Campers tackle more advanced STEM challenges including custom design, functional prototyping, and maker problem-solving with real 3D printers.

Ages: 13-17
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (2 hours per session)
Price: $150/week — covers all 3 evenings (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). That’s just $50 per evening.
First session: July 8, 2026
Available weeks: July 6, 13, 20, 27 | August 3, 10, 17, 24

No experience required. Teens work independently on guided projects with hands-on access to the Print and Play makerspace.

What You Will Build and Learn

3D Printing

Design and print real objects using our professional FDM printers. Students take their prints home.

Circuits and Electronics

Build working circuits, wire up LEDs and sensors, and learn how electricity flows through the things we use every day.

Robotics

Program robots to navigate challenges and respond to the world around them using beginner-friendly code.

Engineering Challenges

Tackle hands-on design problems that require creativity, teamwork, and a willingness to try, fail, and try again.

A Real Maker Space

Sessions run inside our Hamilton maker space, not a school gym or community hall. Real tools, real equipment, real environment.

Small Groups, Real Attention

We keep group sizes small so every participant gets hands-on time and direct support from our instructors.

Common Questions

No experience is required. Activities are designed for curious beginners. Returning participants are welcome and will find new challenges waiting for them.

Bring a water bottle and a snack. Wear clothes you can move in. We supply all tools, materials, and safety equipment.

All sessions take place at our store at 162 Locke Street South, Hamilton.

Yes. Anything a participant builds or prints during the session is theirs to take home.
